Garrett Classics is proud to showcase this very nice 1966 Mustang coupe. Built in San Jose, CA. on Nov. 30th, 1965. This is an extremely nice little coupe. The recent repaint to it's original color of Wimbledon White is very nice, and the new vinyl top installation was very well done. The under dash a/c works very well. The seats are believed to be the original ones and you will see some tears on the drivers seat in 2 places. The seller did get a replacement but decided not to put it on because it is not the same vinyl as the original. It will be included with the car.
Original door panels. The passenger side above has some dings from the retractable seat belt hitting it over the years. The original door tag is intact. You can see some wear around the gauges on the dash, which really leaves us to believe that this interior is original.
Original radio with 8 track. The dash is in great condition and free of cracks. One of the rare options on the car is the remote mirror control. There is also a seat belt warning light and four way flashers. What we believe is the original 289 engine runs strong. The original fender stamping is intact and matches the door tag and VIN#.
The trunk is clean and rust free. Spare and jack included. It appears the fuel tank has been replaced at some point.
There is no rust under the package tray. New deck lid seal. The undercarriage is is very solid condition. It could use a little detailing, but looks good. The rockers are very solid with no signs of rust.
