Garrett Classics presents this classic 1979 VW Beetle convertible. This is a solid old survivor-type car that wears its correct River Blue paint. It is mechanically sound and pleasure to cruise in.   The exterior presents what we believe is the original finish of attractive River Blue metallic. The paint has flaws when you look closely, however the car is solid and straight.  Open the doors to 1979. The interior is as it came with exception of an older updated AM/FM cassette stereo & amplifier.

The mileage is believed to be actual.  The upholstery is in good shape front to back. The dash is also original and in good condition as is the instrumentation, functional. This car is also optioned with air conditioning, which needs work to blow cold.  Under the hood is the maintained and original air-cooled fuel-injected 4 cylinder engine.   The trunk is also clean and in good condition.

The rubber seal on the back glass is deteriorated, however the top looks good. The well for the top could use some new carpet as well.  This is a shot of the rear just below the engine compartment. It is behind the bumper.  This is your opportunity to own a very nice little entry level classic car, the VW Beetle convertible.
