The paint and body are exceptionally clean front to back. The body panels align correctly. The paint is in very good to excellent condition throughout, any imperfections are minor on this car. it is very nice. GT Stripes & Badging are paired with lower rocker panel trim. Under the hood is the optional for the 2nd half of 1965 "A" Code 10:1 compression 289 cubic inch V8 with 4bbl. carburetor. This powerplant is paired with the factory-optioned 4-speed manual transmission. The engine runs strong with great throttle response. Accessories include updated air conditioning (134a) & power steering. The engine compartment is clean and detailed. The firewall, core support, and inner fenders are in great shape as are the shock towers.
The Rally Pac cluster consists of a tachometer & seperate clock. The tachometer works & clock is not working. The updated JVC Mustang cassette stereo is also working. This Mustang has been retro-fitted with an underdash air conditioning unit, functional & cold. The standard instrumentation is functional. This is a classic car that you can jump in and drive somewhere. This Mustang is a tight, good handling car with power & a great ride quality to it. The shocks were recently replaced all around. The interior showcases clean standard black bucket seat upholstery along with the optional Rally Pac gauges. An updated AM/FM stereo has been installed as well.
The door identification plate is in place. This car was ordered in Rangoon Red with the 289 4bbl. 225HP V8 & a 4-speed manual transmission with 3.00 differential gearing. It was built on October 14th, 1964 and bound for Indianapolis, Indiana. The trim is standard black vinyl. The trunk is clean and detailed, complete with the correct mat, spare equipment & spare dual redline tire & steel wheel. The rear GT valance is compete with dual exhaust & GT Trumpet tips. The black convertible top is power-operated and works as it should. The top itself is in excellent condition. Also, all of the glass rolls up and down correctly and is in very good condition. This is a highly attractive Mustang that is an absolute pleasure to cruise. The undercarriage is in good condition. The exhaust system was recently replaced. The shocks have been replaced. The front disc brakes were also recently serviced.
