We have this very nice driver quality 55 Chevy big window in our showroom. The truck has it's original 6 cylinder engine and does not appear to have been restored.   The body is solid with the exception of a small area of rust bubbles which we sow in later photos.    These bed rails were added and are not original.   The owner claims the truck is original and it does have it's original 6 cylinder. This is a good candidate for a restoration or a truck you can drive with very few  upgrades.    The original fuel tank still sits behind the seat. 

The engine number matches the vin, showing it's the original engine.   The extra lights under the tailgate are also not an original item.   The bed could use some restoration.    The truck needs a new bed, unless of course you want to go with the rat rod look. 

The undercarriage is also not restored. The exhaust system needs to be replaced. It has several holes in the pipes and mufflers.   The undercarriage is unrestored, but looks very solid.    On the body, this is the worst part of rust. There are mostly just scratches and minor little dings.    This Passing Eye mirror is the first one we've seen. I found an actual picture of the card that describes it. You can actually see around a large vehicle driving in front of you to view on coming traffic.
